Final Fantasy 13 to break ps3?
It has been claimed that Square Enix have produced the first game that could fry the ps3? Ok so maybe it won’t literally fry the machine but up until this point most ps3 games have used well below the 75% of capacity mark to play their games. Final Fantasy 13 should blow them all out of the water using nearer the 100% mark of the ps3s capacity nearly all the way through the game. With this announcement its amazing to see how microsoft still seem to think they will sell more copies of ffxiii on the xbox 360 than for the ps3.
The way we see it is if the game has to be toned down to just maintain its quality on the borders of the ps3’s performing capacity why on earth would you buy it on the xbox? True diehard final fantasy gamers have followed thier title on the most expensive systems since the PS1 and final fantasy 7. Nothing will have changed here if you ask me, I wouldn’t be suprised if the PS3 sells phenominally around the launch of the latest final fantasy title – gamers will want the full experience, not the watered down xbox equivilent.
After all whats the benifit of superior development in technology if you opt for the cheaper one for your favourite game.
